Comments: The state-of-the-art in Contemporary Native Flutes! The eagle heads are carved directly into the wood of the flute and feature a mouth opening that allows a view of the flute's interior. The four slots control the tuning and were believed in the old days to send music to the four directions. The five-hole design is patterned the same as the Lakota Contemporary, the six-holers are Light designs tuned to the same traditional scales as the Sonoran(G), the Athabascan(A),the Waterspirit(F#),or the Largebore (D#).
